I have always heard giant mealworms cannot breed. And what makes them so large is the hormones they are given, yet I have a pupae from one and wonder if maybe they can indeed breed?

For my 20 gallon long aquarium enclosure I double screen the top, use weather seal to ensure a tight seal, and aquarium safety clips to provide a tight fit to prevent escapes. I don't use any type barrier because I find the barriers are messy and don't stop the babies and the adults can't get out anyway.

The main things to be mindful of when attempting to breed Elliptorhina Javanica Hissers aka Halloween Hissers, are to have at least one male and one female, keep them on substrate of some sort, feed fruit regularly, and keep temps at a minimum of 80F.

Quick update on the corns. ;-) They are really growling fast!

Tarantulas are really very neat creatures, in fact, most tarantulas will not feed in a dirty tank. If you take the time to observe them you will often see them rearranging and cleaning their tank as well as grooming themselves.

Leopard gecko and Western Hognose snake pickups from Raleigh NC Repticon Expo Show 2013

I have decided that I've got to take time out to spend with this lil guy if I plan to keep him. So I am going to totally dedicate a full 6 weeks (which has not began yet) to him, trying my best to gain his trust so I can enjoy him like I do the rest of my snakes. It may take longer, but it's up to me to find some type of way to do it. And he's so beautiful, I think that's why he's so mean, he's a ham! LOL Sometimes I wonder if he's an Eastern...he's a mess!

Here's a quick video of my youngest male crested gecko. As of yet I do not have a name for him so if you have any ideas, that would be great!
